We are super excited to announce that Dance Stables is now affiliated with Para Dance UK.
Our DS Director, Cara Louise Horsley, took part in the first Para Dance UK IDT Inclusive Dance Remote Training Course earlier this year and we are super excited to put this training into practice, furthering the reach of inclusive dance across London, alongside such a brilliant organisation.
At Dance Stables, we pride ourselves in offering classes that everyone can enjoy and this is shown in our DS Mission Statement:

We promote positive well being, celebrate cultural diversity and identity, and aim to educate and inspire the future of dance in the UK and beyond.

As detailed on their website, Para Dance UK is a charity and aims to develop and promote dance as a sport and an inclusive leisure activity across the country. We love and champion their ethos that #EveryoneCanDance. We couldn’t think of a more perfect fit to our DS way of working and views on dance!
What Inclusive Dance do we currently offer?
Our DS Academy locations offer children dance classes for all ages and abilities in Ballet, Street Dance and Contemporary Dance. Everyone is welcome to join us, and we currently have places available at our DS Islington and Wood Green Academies.
We also run weekly Adult Contemporary Dance classes at Islington Arts Factory, which will be back in person at 6.30-8.00pm on Monday 17th May 2021. These classes are inclusive, and you can currently join us on Wednesdays at 7.00-8.00pm online. Book your places here!
We also work with a number of Primary and Secondary schools across the London Boroughs of Harrow, Enfield, Islington, Haringey and Waltham Forest, to provide Dance, Gymnastics and Movement & Relaxation classes alongside the school’s SEN and PE departments. We love dancing with so many children each week!

Every Body Dances II - inclusive dance for over 50s.
