Congratulations to our Dance Stables Ballet Stars!

Last month, 75 exceptionally talented Dance Stables ballerinas took part in our DS Ballet Grading day. Children from our academies in Islington, Wood Green, Muswell Hill and Enfield, and our 313 Ballerinas took part. While students have been receiving their results this term, we are extremely happy to announce that all our Dance Stables ballerinas have passed with either a High Merit or a Distinction!

The Dance Stables Ballet Grading aims to support the DS Academy syllabus and learning while providing a grading scheme where candidates can progress and develop their Dance understanding & skill. In order to achieve their RED horseshoe for this grading, our students needed to demonstrate their extensive knowledge of the syllabus, excellent rhythm and technique, as well as balance, control and artistry.

Not easy, right? Which is why we are exceptionally pleased all our ballerinas passed with such brilliant results. Children were assessed by our Director, Cara Louise Horsley and guest assessor Yen-Ching Lin. Yen-Ching commented on the children's confidence, developing technique and inspiring artistry. This amazing achievement will be rewarded with an official Dance Stables certificate and rosette, presented to children on the evening if our Summer Show - Saturday 9th June 2018.

We want to say a big congratulations to each and every one of you, you make us so proud!

These students will now continue to progress through our ‘rainbow’ of DS Horseshoe grades. Bring on the ORANGE horseshoe...
